The ongoing zone 9 police games will be coming to an end tomorrow, Saturday
30th January 2016 by 2pm at the Main Bowl of Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu.
The closing ceremony will witness relay race by various commands,Advance Drill
by detachment of No 3 police mobile Force Enugu, march past by all the state
contingents as well as other mouth watering ceremonies and thereafter a
football match between Enugu police Team (male) with
Imo state Team by 4pm.
To reach the final stage, Enugu state police command football team beat all the
state command Team to garner 9 points from the three matches played and to
top the football table while Imo lost one match,won one and drew one to garner
4 points leaving Abia and Anambra with one point each.
In the first final group game today, Anambra played out a goalless draw with
Imo state command while a brace from Golio prosper in the 17th and 69th
minutes gave Enugu football team the edge over struggling Abia state team.
Meanwhile, members of the public have been enjoined to come to Nnamdi
Azikiwe stadium from 2pm on 30/1/2016 to witness and support their police
for the closing ceremony as there will be no gate fee.
