Nigeria Is In Top 20 Countries With Highest Internet Users

The Internet makes the world a little smaller. Some of these countries may not be the richest or the biggest, but these are the countries with the most Internet usage in the world.
Here is a list of the top 20 countries with highest internet users:

1. India (568,192,068)

Internet in this country was recently established just over a decade ago and it used to be called Educational Research Network (ERNET).

2. China (568,192,066)

The first Internet connection in China was established in September 20, 1987 between Beijing and Germany’s Karlsruhe University.

3. United States of America (254,295,536)

Internet started in this country in the 1960s. It was a project called Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPNET) by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

4. Japan (100,684,474)

Japan started out slow in the Internet industry, now it is the leading country in the global mobile internet industry.

5. Brazil (99,357,737)

Internet was established in 1988 and was introduced to the public in 1995 in Brazil.

6. Russia (75,926,004)

Internet started in Russia back in January 1990 when the social organization called Glasnet, short for Glasnost and Network, was created.

7. Germany (68,296,919)

There are a lot of companies that provides Internet services with competitive rates in Germany with the country’s strong Internet market competition.
