Reality star has afterbirth made into pills due to 'health benefits'
Kim Kardashian says she will eat her placenta again after the birth of her second child, Saint.
The reality star tweeted a snap to her fans showing a bottle containing the freeze-dried afterbirth which has been turned into tablets.
Kim, 35, has been vocal about the benefits of eating the placenta and her belief that it helped ward off postnatal depression after the birth of daughter North in 2013.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians celeb wrote on her website: "I had great results and felt so full of energy and didn't have any signs of depression. I definitely had to do it again.
"Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good.
"I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!"
Kim and hubby Kanye West announced the birth of their son on December 5, later saying they had decided to call him Saint as the child was a 'miracle baby'.
Kardashian has been candid about her struggle to get preganant and the problems she faced during.
In one blog post the mum-of-two revealed that her son was breech, which meant undergoing surgery to turn the infant the weekend before his birth.
Kim struggled with pre-eclampsia while pregant with North, now 2.
However, her mum Kris assured everyone that 'mommy and daddy are doing fantastic.'
Could that be down to the placenta pills, Kim?
