Adele: My comeback is down to my son
Adele is relieved, partner Simon Konecki is man enough to support her success.
Adele |
Adele doesn’t think she would have returned to music if she hadn’t become a mum.The British singer welcomed her first child, Angelo, in October, 2012, just months after sweeping the board at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. Becoming a mother led to a three-year hiatus, during which she released nothing except for her Oscar-winning Bond theme, Skyfall, and while many would think taking a break at a career high point is a mistake, Adele insists it was exactly what she needed.

Technical codes:
All clear – When you hear this it means the crew can visit the lav. No one is getting the random drug and alcohol test.
Bidding - This is the monthly process of telling the airline what crew members would like for their next work schedule — a competition based on seniority.
Factoid - When some foreign airlines just randomly assign trips.
Deadhead – When a crew member flies as a passenger — as a company assignment. Basically, the airline needs them to be somewhere other than where they are, and they cannot or are not needed to work the flight.
How to help your daughter cope with accepting her hubby’s second wife!
At 49, Jubril was thought to have an enviable marriage by his married friends – a 22-year partnership with beautiful Tumi who bore him three lovely children. They met in college and were almost inseparable.
Then she became a mother of three, and gradually her appearance at parties
with him began to fade. “When Jubril started staying out late and at most weekends, I warned my daughter of its implications”, Miriam, Tumi’s mother said. “As a Muslim, Jubril could be polygamous if he desired, but Tumi seemed to trust him not to take another wife. Well, he did. Not only that, he had said that since they lived in a sprawling accommodation, the new wife could have one of the chalets. At his age and with his position, Jubril said he wouldn’t want to be running from one woman’s house to the other if his new wife were to live on a different premises. Tumi was devastated to say the least. She’d invested so much into her marriage, and to be replaced with a new model in her life as if she was an old car, was too hard for her to take.

Premier League: 10 things to Check out this weekend!
Will Tottenham’s pressing suffocate Arsenal, can West Ham undo their Lukaku curse and is Allardyce the man to stimulate and stabilise Sunderland?
1) Tottenham’s pressing may pay off against Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur will surely have taken note of Arsenal’s feeble attempts to cope with Bayern Munich’s high press on Wednesday. Mauricio Pochettino makes his players work feverishly out of possession, using intense training sessions to improve their fitness, and one of Tottenham’s most complete performances last season was when they overwhelmed Arsenal at White Hart Lane, recovering from the setback of Mesut Özil’s early goal by claiming a 2-1 victory thanks to a Harry Kane double in the second half. Yet they should also remember how they took the lead in their 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium last season. Nacer Chadli’s goal was created by Christian Eriksen winning the ball from a dawdling Mathieu Flamini in a dangerous position and with that in mind Arsenal will need to be sharp and alert when they have the ball near their own area, especially if Héctor Bellerín and Laurent Koscielny are missing from their back four again.

25+ YEARS OF 30 EXPERIENCES.

The Following are 30 of the Essential life experiences from my first 25+ years on this Earth.
1. Hype is cancerous. So often we fall for the hype (“Buy More, Save More!” and “Three Day Sale!”), and we are suckered into rash buying decisions because of scarcity and a false sense of urgency. We can train ourselves, however, to not only resist such hype, but to have a vitriolic reaction to the hype—to elicit a response so off-putting that we avoid anything that’s hyped. When we’re aware of the world around us, we can willfully develop a hype allergy.
