Dr Katsuya Takasu Developed Passion For Dream Team VI after winning their Opening game against Japan in Brazil.Nigeria won the game by 5 Goals.

Dream Team VI was abandoned in USA by NFF and the Team got to Brazil 5 Hours before the Opening Game.

On 13th August 2016, he promised a bonus of $30,000 to each Nigerian player should they win gold, $20,000 for silver, $10,000 for bronze at the Rio 2016 men’s Olympic football tournament in Brazil after hearing about their financial woes.

“I read about the financial problems affecting the team and I felt the need to make a big contribution,” Takasu told BBC Sport.

“I am not doing this for media attention but to motivate a team with an indomitable spirit. I fell in love with the Nigerian team because despite all these problems they are in the quarter-finals of the Olympics.

On 20th August 2016, Dream Team VI Played with Honduras and scored 3 Goal which earned them Bronze Medal.

Dr Katsuya Takasu was in Stadium with the Team.  After the match, he Fulfilled his Promise to the Team Nigeria.

He gave the Team $390,000 Bonus as he Promised.
